What does "we beat the market" actually mean?
At Glasgow, Manchester, Luton and Bristol our provider network runs deepest, so we work hardest to keep prices lower than the wider UK market — and back it with a price-match refund if we're not (see the six clauses below). This refund applies only at those four airports; it doesn't apply anywhere else on the site.
How does the price match work?
It applies to bookings at Glasgow, Manchester, Luton and Bristol only, subject to the six clauses on the price-match page: same provider, same dates, same product, publicly bookable UK site, claimed at least 24 hours before drop-off. Cashback and loyalty discounts don't count. Once approved, the refund lands back on your card within 3 working days.
What's the difference between on-airport and off-airport parking?
On-airport car parks sit inside the airport's own boundary and are run by the airport operator. Off-airport (Park & Ride and Meet & Greet) is run by independent operators nearby, typically 5–15 minutes from the terminal by shuttle or driver transfer. Off-airport is usually cheaper; on-airport is usually closer.
Is my car insured while it's parked?
Every provider on TVL Geek holds public liability insurance and, for Meet & Greet, motor trade insurance covering your car while a driver is in charge of it. Your own policy stays in force too. Full policy details appear on each product page before you book.
What is Park Mark, and why does it matter?
Park Mark is the British Parking Association's Safer Parking scheme — an independent award for car parks meeting the police's security standards (lighting, surveillance, staff, layout). We flag Park Mark on every product page. It's not compulsory, but it's a fair proxy for well-run facilities.
What happens if my flight is delayed on the way home?
If your vehicle remains beyond the booked parking period, the parking provider may charge its prevailing overstay or additional-day rate. This may also apply where your return flight is delayed or cancelled. Where a product includes Late Return Cover, the specific cover terms apply.
Can I cancel my booking?
Flexible bookings have free cancellation for the first 24 hours after booking, if the booking is otherwise eligible. A £10 cancellation/administration fee applies thereafter. No cancellations are permitted within 48 hours of arrival. Non-flexible products cannot be cancelled, amended or refunded. See the Cancellation & Refund Policy.
