§01 Who we are

WE COMPARE PARKING LTD trading as TVL Geek is the data controller for personal data processed for the operation of the TVL Geek website and its own booking/platform services, except where another party acts as an independent controller as explained in this policy.

TVL Geek is a trading name of WE COMPARE PARKING LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17291984. Registered office: 1A Electric Parade, Seven Kings Road, Ilford, England, IG3 8BY.

§02 What we collect

Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:

name, email, phone;
booking reference;
travel dates and times;
airport and terminal;
vehicle registration and details;
flight details;
payment-related metadata (not full card details — the payment processor handles those);
account data where you create or use a customer account;
support and complaint communications;
IP, device and browser information;
cookie identifiers;
marketing preferences.

quote and search service;
booking fulfilment;
confirmations and service communication;
amendments, cancellations and support;
security and fraud prevention;
analytics and product improvement where used;
legal and accounting obligations;
marketing where lawful.

§04 UK GDPR legal bases

We use the basis that actually fits the processing:

Contract / steps at your request — to provide a quote, take a booking, take payment, send confirmation, and handle amendments or cancellations.
Legitimate interests — security, fraud prevention, keeping the site working, and limited service improvement, balanced against your rights.
Consent — marketing emails and any non-essential cookies, where consent is required. We do not treat consent as the basis for processing that is necessary to fulfil a booking.
Legal obligation — accounting, tax and other legal duties.

Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out.

§05 Who we share data with

Where applicable we share data with:

parking operators fulfilling your booking;
payment processors (currently Stripe);
hosting and IT providers;
email and SMS providers used to send booking messages;
analytics or advertising providers only where consent exists and those tools are actually deployed;
professional advisers;
regulators or law enforcement where legally required.

TVL Geek does not currently sell hotels or flights, so we do not share booking data with hotels or airlines for those products. We do not sell your personal data.

§06 International transfers

Some processors (including Stripe) may process data outside the UK. Where that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards required by UK GDPR, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy decision.

§07 How long we keep it

TODO: OWNER/DPO TO CONFIRM RETENTION PERIOD. Until a confirmed schedule is recorded, we keep personal data only for as long as needed to fulfil the booking, handle support, meet accounting and legal obligations, and then delete or anonymise it.

§08 Your rights

You have the right to access, correction, deletion where applicable, restriction, objection, portability where applicable, withdrawal of consent, and to complain to the ICO. Email privacy@tvlgeek.com. We will respond within one month as required by law.
